Darrell Carter

I have taught courses at Purdue University, University of Nevada Las Vegas, and the College of Southern Nevada. My goal in teaching is to minimize barriers to learning. Whether those barriers are disinterest in the topic, struggles with the format, or working a full time job, I want my class to be engaging and accessible for all of my students. I deliver my course content in multiple formats, have different types of assessments, and spread out assignments. I use group activities and discussion to help students interact with, not just receive, the material and hear different perspectives.
